How would you spend your $500 cash back?
|
|
Imagine if you were just to click a few buttons and find that voila, there’s an extra $500 sitting somewhere with your name on it! Well you know what - it’s all actually quite possible!
If you’re the type of girl who doesn’t really give tax a second thought, now is the time to become one who does! Here at nzgirl HQ we’re stoked to have finally discovered My Tax Back, an ingenious service of tax agents, registered with the IRD to do all the hard work of figuring out if you are owed any money.
So far just over 350 nzgirls have already applied to get their tax back and have received an average return of $350! My Tax Back are a super safe option - if they do find that you owe the IRD money, they simply won’t process your return. There’s no upfront fee payable and the minimal amount that you do have to pay depends on how much money you are owed. Plus, if they find that you have no refunds owing – it’s free! What are you waiting for? Click here to apply for your tax back now, and you’ll go in the draw to win a stunning clutch or bag from Neelear Nomad.
So, what would you spend that extra moolah on? We asked the ladies in the office how they’d spend an extra $500 if the fabulous people at My Tax Back were to find it for them, hidden somewhere in the depths of the IRD…
Anya, Style and Beauty Manager If I managed to pry money out of the IRD you better believe I’m going to spend it on something stupid… I mean frivolous. What’s more frivolous than $455.00 body cream! Re’ Vive Sans Veines Body Repair Cream from Mecca Cosmetica is apparently the ‘Rolls Royce’ of skin creams (you’d hope so for nearly $500!). I’d invest the remaining $5 on a big ol’ donut to munch on while the cream soaks in. I figure with its firming properties it all evens out anyway!
Emma, Advertising Manager I would treat myself to some new snowboard boots – my current ones are super old, falling to pieces, have turned a weird pale colour and are in dire need of throwing out. Numb and squishy toes are no fun for anyone!
Sarah, Art Director Although I know I should save it and put it towards my upcoming holiday to Aussie, I think I would make up some legitimate excuses so that I could spend it all in one day. I would spend it on clothes, have a nice lunch out with a friend and buy some essentials. I am overdue for some more hoodies, jeans and chucks. You know it Anya!
Ramarea, Content Producer There’s sooo many reasons why I’d love an extra $500 to just pop out of the blue! I’ve just moved in to a new house and want to pimp it out with cute furniture. I really want a big (but pretty) bookshelf to store all my random bits and pieces. I’d also use some of the money to replace the vacuum hose I melted (oops - don’t ask!) and of course I’d have to treat myself to something that’s actually fun – perfume or new jeans.
Bonnie, Commercial Director I'd buy a return flight to the Gold Coast to visit my brother in law who runs a resort!
Nadia, Campaign Executive Ohhh! Wouldn’t five hundy be nice! I always knew someone had a money tree hiding somewhere. I would put it towards an awesome holiday! Maybe in Thailand because than I could get extra bang for my buck and it’s soooo hot and beautiful there.
Isla, Content Producer I'd take it as a great opportunity to help out the economy, and would use it to buy flights to Melbourne. So then I'd have to whack a big lot of shopping and hotel bills on my credit card, but hey, it's for the good of the country!
