Welcome to 2009! Whether you're back at work or still on holiday we've got loads of goodies to help keep you feeling the summer love! Click here for a taste of what we've got...
This month our theme is Pin-ups, so we’re all about everything lush and luxe, including gorgeous girls! We asked some of our fav boys to spill the goss on which Pin-up ladies they've got (or wish they had) pinned up on their walls… Darren Ellis Strength and Conditioning Coach, co-owner of CrossFit NZ My favourite Pin up is Jessica Biel as she is one of the few actresses to avoid succumbing to the pressure to be a size 0. She uses the exact type of exercise I recommend to my own female clients: squats, lunges, kettlebells and other heavy free weight exercises, as well as high intensity sprinting, to keep in fantastic shape. She is living proof that you should train like an athlete to build a hot body, not plod away on a treadmill for hours.
Olly Coddington Presenter on TV2’s I AM TV My favourite Pin-up girl is Ngahuia - she’s the main model for Max. She’s my fav because she is one damn fine hottie, she has a very cool/casual look, she represents Maori women internationally, and when I used to work at Maori Television in Newmarket, on my way to work I used to drive past this huge billboard of her running in pink lingerie… It was the highlight of my day.
Clinton Randell Presenter of TV2’s Just The Job, Top Ten finalist in NZ Idol Adriana Lima. I like to think I put more than simply looks at the top of what makes a woman attractive but we are talking about Pin-up girls after all. Beside the obvious, that she's a Brazilian hottie with a rocking body and a gorgeous face, she also has a gorgeous heart to match, helping out in orphanages and believes in saving sex for marriage which I agree with and respect; making her tops in my books!
Jaden Parkes Goodnight Nurse – Drums/Vocals Fav Pin-up: Scarlett Johansson Why: She has a classic old-school look with a great sense of fashion and epic sex appeal, yeya!
