Clinton Randell
Clinton Randell, host of Just The Job on TV2.
What I’m doing differently… Sadly my change is not as exciting as sharing a shower but I am looking for a bike to start biking to work. Despite the fact I'll arrive at work with helmet hair every day, I'll get plenty of exercise, save a lot of money and help the environment, taking one more car off the road.
Tee Lim
Marketing and Communications Coordinator – Habitat for Humanity NZ
What I’m doing differently… I guess my role in marketing for the not-for-profit organisation Habitat for Humanity is one major thing I’m doing ‘differently’ – I’m the only one from my marketing honours class in this sector for instance. The organisation itself is one that does things differently also, in that we offer ‘a hand up, not a hand out’; meaning Habitat families must work in close partnership with us on the way to home ownership. Habitat offers all sorts of incredible volunteer opportunities here in NZ and overseas - check out www.habitat.org.nz for more info.
Miriama Kamo
Host of 20/20 which screens every Thursday at 9.30pm on TV2
What I’m doing differently… What I'm doing differently is creating less waste by recycling, composting and using reusable shopping bags whenever I can. Where ever possible I refuse wrapping, tissue, and bags for purchases.

Presenter on I AM TV, which screens every Saturday at 10am on TV2.
What I’m doing differently… My friends and I started car pooling into work a few months ago. We meet every morning at the same place, same time and indulge in a cuppa and then hit the road at 8am. It’s awesome knowing that we’re taking a few more cars off the road and we’re all saving a few bucks for parking and petrol. I can proudly say I am my mothers’ daughter when it comes to turning off lights and appliances that are not being used. She used to go nutters every time we left a light on unnecessarily, and I’m pretty much the same in my house too (not that I’m a nutter, far from it…just aware).

What I’m doing differently?
I don’t use my car very much (it’s a Fiat Uno - uses hardly any gas); I walk or skateboard most places (depending on the weather); I’m always turning off lights and appliances when they’re not being used (and encourage my flatmates to do the same); our flat uses eco friendly washing detergent; I use cotton shopping bags or just carry what I bought if there’s not too much; I try to eat as little takeaways as poss to save on package waste - either cook at home or dine in.
