How to avoid a hangover

I must say, for the record, I’m a total lightweight when it comes to hangovers.

Even a moderate round of post-work drinks is enough to
have me waking up the next day with a heavy sense of regret (not to mention a heavy head!).

The lightest of hangovers is enough of an excuse for me to stock up on McDonalds, Twisties and Coke and spend the day on the couch feeling sorry for myself.

While there are definitely worse ways to pass time, at this stage of the year, when my schedule is jam packed from dawn to dusk, I just can’t afford to throw a self-induced pity party. Not to mention the havoc all that junk food plays on my body and skin!

Luckily there are clever people out there who are totally on to the case and have come up with a solution… Hydrodol. These innocuous looking pills work to help your body rehydrate, replacing the good stuff the evil alcohol sapped out of you.

You simply pop four when you start drinking (but you can take them the next day, if you forget) and the blend of 16 amino acids plus vitamins and minerals do their trick. The pills are all natural and there are no nasty sounding chemicals in the mix (because after a bout of drinking, the last thing you want to be doing is putting something dubious in your body).

I gave Hydrodol a damn good test when I took some at the start of my best friend’s hen’s party. It goes without saying I was in for a big night so I was somewhat dubious these small pills could counteract that.

Let’s just say I was so impressed with the results that I’ll definitely buy Hydrodol any time in the future when I’ve got a big night planned (especially when it’s on a week night!).

Not only did I feel blessedly hangover free the next day, (in fact my boyfriend and I spent the entire Sunday trekking around open homes, an exhausting process when you’ve had a good night’s sleep, but something I wouldn’t have even considered possible after a big night!) but I noticed during the course of the evening I felt great as well.

I didn’t seem to develop that clumsy drunk thing and I can remember everything that happened with absolute clarity (so I know I did nothing stupid!).

If you’ve got a big night coming up - between work functions, Christmas and New Years, I’d say the chances are pretty high you do! - then head to your local pharmacy and pick up a pack of Hydrodol, it’s really reasonable at only $14.80 for two doses and you’ll be so glad you did when you wake up feeling great and can make the most of a fantastic summer day.
