Well girls, I have to say I’m impressed. In our recent ‘Have a Fling’ survey, over half of you rated your quick wit as your greatest seduction tool when you have a fling.
I knew you were a smart and charming bunch! Beauty and intelligence rated almost equal at 23% and 25%, while using your body to seduce a man came in at a lowly nine percent.
The Fling survey also found that despite your love affair with the internet (and nzgirl in particular!), the web is yet to replace face-to-face flirting. However, the old text message is a pretty popular way to flirt with 59% of nzgirls saying they would use this method of communication to have a fling.
We defined a fling as a ‘harmless, guilt-free flirtation’ and going on this definition, nearly three quarters of the 484 nzgirls who took the survey admitted to having one. Only 15% said they would definitely not have one if the opportunity arose.
From our selection of hunky guys, the Southern Man and the Bad Boy came out on top as the type of man nzgirl would like to have a fling with. These two hotties got 30% of votes each, while the Rich Guy and the Jock weren’t so desirable at 14% and 15% respectively. The Heroic Man really lucked out with only 11% of nzgirls choosing him as their favourite fling partner.
So where do these flings take place? Well nothing beats a holiday romance, and 46% of you admitted to flirting while away on holiday. Flirting with the help of a few drinks was also popular with 42% of girls preferring to flirt while at a bar. We all know the problems that arise with workplace flings, so luckily only 12% of you chose the work place as your flirting place of choice.
Yet with all this flirting going on, it appears that kiwi women aren’t all that proud of their flirtatiousness, with 82% of you saying you prefer it to be secretive.
